We just got back from Miami, Florida ...
We took part in the second leg of the World Cup, January 26 to 31 in the crystal waters of the Bay Biskayne. Not a bad result, a good 5 degrees, in line with our expectations.
We were not many in the organization of such a long trip and the uncertainty of the beginning of the new four-year Olympic Miami led to "only" 18 men and 9 women's teams.
The level was high, 6 crews returning from the Beijing Olympics as many new and old that begin with the four new ambitions!
We chartered a Mackay in 2006 by American crew McNay-Biehl, a good boat with some layout different from ours, which has created some problems at first.
Miami, well, Miami ... the climate, the sun, the beaches ... say we can not do this race and indeed we are already planning the trip next year!
